Collaborating with Fogarty Finger Architecture and JRM Construction Management, SEB opted for two of our ZONA 2 single glazed glass wall systems to help delineate various spaces within their main common area, including the lobby, kitchen area, conference room, and other small meeting rooms.

ZONA 2 effectively partitioned the conference room from the common area, maintaining privacy while allowing ample natural light to filter through, enhancing the space’s ambiance and overall design appeal. In fact, one of the glass systems intersects with a Modernfold Acousti-Seal Single Panel partition to enable the conference room to be split into two separate areas if needed.

Complementing Modernfold’s solution, ZONA 2 was strategically placed to maximize natural light penetration and enhance spatial aesthetics, offering floor-to-ceiling stunning views of the New York City skyline.

The ZONA 2 system features low iron tempered fixed walls with a glass thickness of ½”, boasting exceptional clarity and increased light transmission when compared with standard clear glass. With such abundant natural light allowed into the office space, ZONA 2 creates a bright and inviting environment, conducive to productivity and employee well-being. Check out our video below!

Standing at an impressive height of 9’6”, ZONA products offer high rigidity on the market while maintaining a consistent 1.5”h profile.

Despite their minimal appearance, ZONA 2 single glazed walls provide adequate acoustic insulation with an STC rating of 34-38, maintaining privacy and minimizing noise disruptions within the workplace.

The ZONA glass walls were finished in a black powder coat, contributing to the space’s sleek and contemporary look and integrating smoothly with the doors of the small meeting rooms. Powder coat finish is more durable than traditional anodized, allowing product to withstand normal wear and tear without compromising finish.

The wood doors, supplied and installed by the millworker, were finished in Rockwood black suede and featured hardware, such as the Sargent MB_LN Rose lever and the Sargent RX8200_71 electrified lockset latch.
